Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio continues to make his mark during his rookie season. Even though the Brewers lost 7-3 on Monday night against the San Diego Padres, Chourio hit a two-run homer off of Joe Musgrove in the second inning and he also had a stolen base in the game.
With him having two RBIs in the game, he now has 11 RBIs this season and also has three stolen bases. Chourio has a .259 batting average, a .305 on-base percentage, and a .749 ops.
Chourio is one of the favorites to win the National League Rookie of the Year Award in 2024. This is the first time this season that the Brewers have lost two straight games. Chourio was also the youngest player to homer and also have a stolen base in the same game since outfielder Bryce Harper did it with the Washington Nationals back in 2012.
Also, the history he made in the first 13 games of the season is that he has three home runs already and Robin Yount is the only other big leaguer to accomplish that feat at such a young age.

There is a lot of young talent across the MLB this season, especially also Baltimore Orioles shortstop Jackson Holliday and outfielder Colton Cowser also. It is also possible that Chourio is battling with San Diego Padres outfielder Jackson Merrill for the National League Rookie of the Year.
There will be many more things that will please the Brewers fanbase about Chourio before the end of the 2024 MLB regular season. Milwaukee is off to a fast start this season because of him with a 10-5 record.
