Milwaukee Brewers Sal Frelick is having a tremendous start to his MLB career. His first career game consisted of three hits, a game tying RBI, and a go-ahead RBI. Things came back down to Earth in his second game played, but then he collected his first career home run in his third game.
At this time Sal Frelick has collected five hits in nine at-bats, has one home run, three runs batted in, and two walks. This start to his career makes him just the second Brewers player to collect at least five hits and one home run through three games played. The other player to do this was Paul Molitor in 1978.
Sal Frelick joins Paul Molitor as the second Milwaukee Brewers player to start their career off with at least five hits and one home run.
A graphic from ESPN Stats & Info provided this information. As Brewers fans know Paul Molitor went on to have a tremendous 21 year career with a vast majority of them being played in Milwaukee. On several occasions he was an All-Star and often found himself in the MVP conversation.

Hopefully Sal Frelick can continue to make a positive impact on the Brewers. Milwaukee had been searching for answers offensively in right field this year and so far the rookie has been delivering.
