Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Kevin Kiermaier showed off his incredible arm strength during Wednesday night’s game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
With the Brewers loading up the bases in the bottom of the first inning, William Contreras hit one to center field but Kiermaier caught the ball and fired a ridiculous throw to home plate to tag out Brice Turang, who was trying to score from third base.

That was not the first time Kiermaier made a highlighter defensive play. He has plenty of it on his resume. After all, he is a four-time Gold Glove Award winner, including one in 2023 when he was still with the Toronto Blue Jays.
Fortunately for Turang and the Brewers, they still ended up with the last laugh in the game, as Milwaukee ended a three-game slump with a 5-4 victory over the Dodgers. Turang also went 1-for-2 with a run scored to go with an RBI when he tripled in the second inning to send Sal Frelick home.
Fans react to Kevin Kiermaier’s Throw During Milwaukee Brewers-Los Angeles Dodgers Game
“Didn’t have “Kiermaier to Barnes for the double play” on my 2024 Dodgers bingo card. But I’m here for it.”
“Hell of a play!”
“Man, it’s not like we, as baseball fans, have a decade plus of seeing Kevin Keirmayer be an absolute weapon in the outfield.”
“Can we talk Kiermaier out of retirement? Like 1 year deal? And then also resign Teoscar? I would finally love our outfield again. Kiermaier can hit .200 all year and I wouldn’t care with his defense.”
“Oh my goodness! What a throw by Kiermaier!!! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🔥🔥🔥”
