The Milwaukee Brewers called up Caleb Boushley late last season and he made his MLB debut at home against the Chicago Cubs. He shined during his one big league appearance as he pitched 2.1 innings, struck out five batters, and Milwaukee won in extra innings off of a walk-off hit.
Following the conclusion of the season Boushley was outrighted off of the 40-man roster and he elected free agency. He now has signed a contract with the Minnesota Twins.
Former Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Caleb Boushley has signed a contract with the Minnesota Twins.
The transaction tracker at MLB.com shows that Boushley has signed a new deal with the Twins. This appears to be a minor league deal as he has been assigned to Triple-A St. Paul. It’s possible that he receives an invite to big league camp.
Caleb Boushley is a Wisconsin native.
30 year old Caleb Boushley grew up in Hortonville, WI and played collegiate baseball at UW-La Crosse.
His family and friends were present during his MLB debut in Milwaukee. The good news for them is that Minnesota is relatively close, so any opportunity at home he gets with the Twins should allow for them to travel in order to see him pitch.
