Milwaukee Bucks fans are still not over the fact that Khris Middleton is no longer with the team.
Middleton was sent ahead of the trade deadline to the Washington Wizards as part of a three-team deal that included the New York Knicks in the picture. In return, the Bucks got Jericho Sims, Patrick Baldwin Jr., a second-round pick in 2025 and Kyle Kuzma. Milwaukee also gave up Delon Wright, rookie AJ Johnson, a 2029 first-rounder and cash.
Middleton played over a decade for the Bucks, so his departure hit hard for many fans, who flooded his last Instagram post before the trade with all sorts of comments and messages.

The said post was uploaded by Middleton before he made his 2024-25 NBA season debut in December after recovering from an offseason surgery on both his ankles.

The 33-year-old Middleton will now start a new chapter in his NBA career with this third team in the league. Unfortunately for him, he’s unlikely to even take a sniff of the NBA playoffs this season with the Wizards owning the worst record in the entire league. Middleton, however, can test the free-agent market by making the bold move of opting out of his $34 million player option for the 2025-26 season.
