Green Bay had a great pre-season and looked like they were well prepared as they attempt to reach the 2023 Super Bowl. As American Football is one of the most popular sports enjoyed by millions of fans around the world, not just in the US, people are sitting up and starting to take note of whom to back this year. Lots of sportsbooks ensure that they cover the NFL and supporters from the UK are particularly interested in having a flutter on who might reach the Super Bowl in 2023. Here’s why you might want to consider backing The Green Bay Packers this season. We’re expecting big things.

How will the Green Bay Packers do in 2022/23?

Why should Packers fans be positive?

Packers fans should be positive because the Packers are amongst the top seeds compared to their competitors, according to the experts. The Wisconsin-based franchise has not always been the most successful franchise. However, their main strength this season is the team cohesion and culture they have built. According to some they have the best running attack and can take over the game if they follow strategic gameplay, so the coach will have to get it right! People are quite rightly excited about Darnell Savage and Adrian Amos who have formed a formidable partnership for the Packers.

    A good head coach

We mentioned the coach earlier and Matt LaFleur has definitely got what it takes to take Green Bay all the way. He is a fine motivator and is regarded as one of the best around in terms of critical thinking and strategy, A team can have the best players but if they are struggling with tactics and don’t know what they’re doing, it can go downhill very quickly.

Following last night's loss to the Eagles, the Packers fall to 4-8, their worst record through 12 games since 2006 (finished 8-8).

    Aaron Rodgers

Of course, Aaron Rodgers deserves his own section. He is well known across the US and abroad as one of the top players in the NFL and the leading player of the Green Bay Packers. However, he does have even more responsibility on his shoulders this year after the departure of Davante Adams. It will be interesting to see how he copes. There is no doubting his quality, but is he able to respond to the hype?

    The running backs

Everybody loves an explosive runner and the Packers have this in abundance. The offensive pairing of Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon always gets the fans off their seats and makes it a much more enjoyable game to watch. It is a mightily impressive statistic that the two managed to run an impressive 4.8 yards per carry in 2020, and we can expect to see that again this season.

How do the experts think Green Bay will do?

Now, we know that anything can happen in sports. We can’t just assume that because we think the Green Bay Packers will do well, they will. Betting firms very rarely get it wrong and that’s why they make so much money but, like the experts, they cannot predict the future. They just look at the odds and stats.

The Buffalo Bills are the favorites to make it to the Super Bowl, and Tampa Bay are the second favorite. However, Green Bay are joint third with Kansas City Chiefs to make it to the Super Bowl and win the Championship.

Ultimately, predictions and expectations are merely based on analysis and personal opinions. It all depends on how a team performs on the final day. With Aaron Rogers and other star players, the Green Bay Packers have a strong defense this time around. It will be interesting to see who succeeds in bringing the trophy home. What we do know is that it will be a great ride along the way, especially if you have placed a bet on it.

So where can you bet on the NFL?
