The Green Bay Packers defense has not been short of swagger since Jaire Alexander was drafted. Alexander brings a special energy every week and it is clearly contagious. It does not take an expert to see the confidence level Jaire Alexander has in himself and his secondary. On Tuesday he called the group “Strap City” heading into the 2023 season.

When asked who came up with the name Alexander said he just came up with it on the spot. Regardless of how long he spent thinking of the name, the name fits the confidence level of the player and the group. Jaire Alexander, Rasul Douglas, Eric Stokes and Keisean Nixon are all confident individuals and believe in their ability to lock up any receiver.
Last season Jaire Alexander made headlines when he shut down Justin Jefferson and hit the Griddy right in front of him. If hitting the Griddy in front of Justin Jefferson in the first half doesn’t scream confidence nothing will. Alexander and Douglas pride themselves on playing good man defense and Eric Stokes is looking to come back and join them. Keisean Nixon is a name that will have a bigger impact on defense this season. Nixon has had a good camp playing cornerback so far. He is already an All-Pro returner, but he was seen working with the offense as well.
