The Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions are the only two teams in the NFC North who will be keeping their starting quarterbacks from last season. Jared Goff and Jordan Love had extremely successful seasons in 2023. One was three points away from reaching the NFC Championship game and one was three points away from reaching the Super Bowl.
However, it is a different quarterback that one Packers defender isn’t too worried about.
One Green Bay Packers Superstar Appears Unbothered By New Quarterback In The NFC North

The Packers have enjoyed exposing Bears quarterbacks for the better part of the last four decades. Names like Kramer, Walsh, Miller, Grossman, Cutler, Trubisky, and Fields were never very successful against their rival to the North.
Keeping this in mind, Gary not thinking much of Caleb Williams’ arrival in Chicago isn’t much of a surprise:
According to Erik Lambert of Sports Mockery:
Rashan Gary knows he and the Packers have the mental edge.
That comes from winning the last ten games in a row. Chicago can’t seem to get over the hump against them, and such inferiority tends to become ingrained into organizational thinking after a while.
The only way this changes is if somebody leads the way towards changing the narrative. Simply beating the Packers won’t be enough. The Bears need a quarterback to do it. They have to show they can finally stand ay eye level with that team. Williams is the best shot they’ve had in a long time.
