Former Green Bay Packers superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers has found himself in hot water today. After going off about the soon to be released Jeffery Epstein list, Rodgers took the opportunity to fire a massive shot at popular TV Show host Jimmy Kimmel on the Pat McAfee Show. Needless to say, Kimmel didn’t like that attack and has now threatened to sue Rodgers.
No matter what your stance on the drama happens to be, Rodgers saying these things on ESPN has come under major scrutiny. There are rumors that the Worldwide Leader in Sports could be considering parting ways with McAfee or forcing major changes to his show.
On Wednesday, McAfee seemed to try to defuse the situation. More than likely, he’s trying to keep his contract with ESPN, while also keeping Rodgers and Kimmel at bay.
Pat McAfee Speaks Out On Former Green Bay Packers Star’s Attack On Kimmel
Since he began his show, McAfee has always loved banter and debate on his show. Plenty of wild things have been done and said on the show. Rodgers’ comments about Kimmel, albeit very harsh, may have gone too far.
To open up his show on Wednesday, McAfee spoke out about the situation. He defended Rodgers a bit, but also defended Kimmel’s perspective.
“I can see exactly why Jimmy Kimmel felt the way he felt, especially with his position. But I think Aaron was just trying to talk sh**.”

That kind of accusation is a very major one. There have been some rumblings about Kimmel from other sources, but the TV host has adamantly defended himself against those accusations and rumors.
Only time will tell what the outcome of this situation will end up being. We will likely hear from the former Packers’ superstar Rodgers himself in the coming days. Until then, the drama will simmer.
