Green Bay Packers news: While Jordan Love remains relatively active on Twitter and Instagram, he’s not exactly what you would call a social butterfly. In fact, some of his followers might say that the young Packers quarterback’s social media feed is actually pretty boring. As it turns out, Love himself doesn’t mind this at all.
Green Bay Packers News: Jordan Love Doesn’t See Much Value in Social Media
Jordan Love was recently asked about his lack of activity on social media. Apparently, this has been his plan all along:
“I don’t think it’s really going to do anything good for me or for my mental to see, whether it’s good or bad,” Love said, via Packers beat reporter Zach Jacobson of heavy.com. “I just try to focus on myself and being the best version I can be.”
While more than a few professional athletes remain very active on social media — some more than others — Jordan Love would rather keep to himself. Other players have even used their accounts for monetary gain, but for his part, the Packers stud would prefer not to do the same in exchange for his privacy.
Green Bay Packers News: Big Year to Come for Jordan Love
Jordan Love is only right to take on this mindset. At this point, he will want to drown out any and all noise ahead of what is going to be his first season as the Packers’ QB1.
Throughout this season, there’s surely going to be a lot of ups and downs as Love navigates a pressure-packed campaign in Green Bay’s first year in the post-Aaron Rodgers era. The Packers’ new cornerstone quarterback will be put under a microscope in 2023, and social media, in particular, will be eagerly anticipating his every misstep. We all know how the mean streets of Twitter roll, so Love will be faced with the tough challenge of blocking off all the unfounded criticism. Might as well start now.
