The Green Bay Packers (2-5) are quickly losing any hope of a magical playoff run in 2023. The team has lost three in a row, their most recent being a 24-10 drubbing by the Minnesota Vikings. Many fans were excited after the first three weeks. The Packers were 2-1 and had just seen the team pull off a miracle comeback win against the New Orleans Saints.
However, since that time the Packers have gone on that aforementioned losing streak and things look extremely bleak, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Following their Week Nine loss head coach Matt Lafleur said there were going to be some big changes coming.
Green Bay Packers Head Coach Matt LaFeur Announces Major Change After Loss To The Minnesota Vikings
According to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic:
Matt LaFleur: “We’re gonna shake some things up in terms of our process, our weekly rhythm.”
In the next three weeks, Green Bay faces Los Angeles Rams, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Los Angeles Chargers before their big Thanksgiving game against the Detroit Lions. Those are three winnable games before they head into Detroit.
Prior to Thanksgiving, the Packers will be out of playoff contention if they don’t get their act together. What is Matt LaFleur’s plan to get the Packers over the hump?
Jordan Love believes that those uncomfortable changes are only a matter of time:
“I’m frustrated. Everybody in that locker room is frustrated,” Love told reporters after the Week 8 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. “Plain and simple – we’re not winning. We’re losing games. And it’s all games that we should be winning, I think…
“… I feel like we’re right there. You know, we’re too inconsistent right now, on offense, we’re not making plays. We have opportunities and we’re just not capitalizing, and that’s [on] everybody. But we pretty much just said we’re right there. If we make those plays, if the ball is bouncing the other way, and we’re making those plays instead of not making those plays – these are totally different games.”
We will see if this divisional loss to the Vikings is what the Packers needed to get their team In gear.

let me guess…. All gas and no brakes? what a joke.
What are the “big changes” Matt La Fleur and Jordan Love are talking about??? Please don’t say there are “big changes” and nothing is listed. Or did I miss something??? “Thank You.”
YES please do something,we can’t get 1 yard from offense, secondary , and hand tackling 😳😳😳 awful. Offensive plays not working.HC
It seems the theme of this years season is blame the players for coaching ineptness and keep trying the same game play after repeated failures. So, what does that say about the coaching staff? To insist that this is not a rebuilding year, when obviously it is, speaks volumes on misdirection of our team. This article should be titled, “Nothing about nothing from Coach Nothing”.
Yeap stop trying the same plays that fail come on do something
LB. Your comment is right on. This article said NOTHING! Player are not preforming. But coaching is not getting it done!
