The Green Bay Packers have a number of Pro Bowlers on their team, and from the looks of it, they’re going to have a lot more in the near future. The 2022 and 2023 NFL Drafts have been huge for the future of this organization. They’ve solidified numerous skill positions on the offensive side of the ball.
It’s no secret that the 2024 off-season will have a big focus on the defense, however, sooner rather than later they’ll need to retain one of their cornerstones on defense.

Kenny Clark has been a pillar of the Packers’ defense for years. If the Packers want to keep him beyond 2024, they’ll have to pay him… again:

Clark is closely monitoring the defensive tackle market. It was announced on Friday that the Baltimore Ravens have signed All-Pro DT Justin Madubuike to a four-year, $98 million contract, with $75.5 million guaranteed.
When the time comes to negotiate a new contract, Clark hopes to replicate this deal.

There is a question as to whether his next contract will come in Green Bay or elsewhere. Currently, Clark has one year left on his contract, and the Packers aren’t known for giving out third contracts often. Are they going to consider letting Clark hit free agency next year?
The Green Bay Packers announced that Kenny Clark had been named to the NFC’s Pro Bowl team. He replaced San Francisco 49ers DL Javon Hargrave.
It was Clark’s third trip to the Pro Bowl after he was selected in 2021 as an original selection and as an injury replacement in 2019. Additionally, he was named an alternate in 2018.Henry Jordan (1960-61, 1963, 1966) is the only other Packers defensive tackle to have made three or more Pro Bowls.
During the 2023 regular season, Clark started all 17 games, recording 7.5 sacks (third most on the team), nine tackles for a loss, two forced fumbles, three pass defenses (tied career high, 2018) and 16 QB hits (third most on the team). In 2023, he finished second on the team with 50 QB pressures (NextGenStat).
