The first one was the worst of them all and Love revealed that he simply did not see the linebacker. It was a ball that really shouldn’t have been thrown even if the linebacker wasn’t there. On the second one, he forced the ball to Christian Watson and it got tipped for another pick. On the interception to end the game Love thought that Watson had his man beat (which he did) but Love simply underthrew it. The first-year starter knows that this is something that has to stop. “I gotta be better. Gotta take care of the ball better,” Love said from the podium. Going into the bye week, the Packers have a lot to work on.

Inconsistency On Offense
There are times when this offense looks unstoppable. Love is slinging the ball all over the field to a variety of weapons and the chains are moving. Then there are times like most of tonight when the offense looks disjointed and sloppy. Two straight dropped passes on the final drive were a killer and might have been the reason that Love felt like he needed to force the issue. The interceptions are what need to be fixed soon. Turning the ball over is a surefire way to lose your team some games. Even if the inconsistent play continues, simply not turning the ball over will make a world of difference.
The team now has a couple of weeks to prepare for another seemingly easy opponent, the Denver Broncos. Jordan Love and the rest of the offense need to show that they can find some consistency. If not, the team could be left with a lot of questions as the season rolls on.
