To say that it has been a roller coaster ride for the Green Bay Packers this season would be an understatement. This was the case for them yet again on Monday night as they suffered a truly deflating 24-22 loss against the New York Giants.
This loss ends Green Bay’s recent impressive run of three straight wins as they continue to fight for their spot in the NFL Playoffs.
Jordan Love Speaks Out on Green Bay Packers’ Loss

Packers quarterback Jordan Love did not have the best of games on Monday night. He wasn’t exactly terrible, completing 25-of-39 passes for 218 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. At the end of the day, however, Love’s effort just wasn’t enough.
After the game, the 25-year-old sounded off on Green Bay’s latest loss. Love conceded that the Packers failed to take advantage of the many chances they had throughout the game and that ultimately, this was what led to the loss:
“So many opportunities left out there,” Love said, via Mike Spofford of the team website. “A lot of missed opportunities we didn’t capitalize on.”
Jordan Love Remaining Positive

Despite the loss, however, the Packers still have a path to the postseason. The NFC North is still wide open with the 9-4 Detroit Lions leading the pack.
According to Love, this most recent setback isn’t going to bring down the Packers:
“Obviously we’re a team that’s been in this situation,” Love said. “We’ve lost some tough games and been able to bounce back. We’ll be able to bounce back next week.”
Up next for the Packers is a Sunday night home game against Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. At this point, Love and Co. already have their eyes fixed on a potential bounce-back win in Week 15:
“It’s the same thing we’ve talked about all season,” Love said.
“How do we bounce back? How do we respond? Showing up to work next week with a clean slate, ready to go, get ready for Tampa Bay.”
