The Green Bay Packers received some huge news ahead of their Week 18 win-and-in showdown against the Chicago Bears. Christian Watson, who has missed a lot of time due to yet another hamstring injury, is likely to make his return to the field. Jordan Love could not be more excited to have his talented wideout back on the field.
Watson had started looking like his normal healthy self prior to the latest hamstring injury. During the game that he got hurt against the Kansas City Chiefs, Watson racked up seven receptions for 71 yards and two touchdowns.
With Watson returning to the field, there are questions about what can be expected from him against the Bears. Green Bay have to beat their division rivals in order to get into the playoffs.
Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love Sends Bold Message About Christian Watson
On Wednesday, Love made it clear that he has no concerns about Watson coming back from injury. He expects to pick up where he left off with the big-time playmaker.
Matt Schneidman, the Packers’ beat writer at The Athletic, revealed what Love had to say about Watson.
Jordan Love said he’s fully expecting his connection with Christian Watson to pick up where it left off. Sounds like No. 9 is back this week after missing four games.

This is music to the ears of every Packers fan out there. Green Bay is getting health at the right time. Along with Watson, Jaire Alexander, De’Vondre Campbell, Dontayvion Wicks, and Jayden Reed are all back practicing.
Matt LaFleur and company know that they need to put up a nearly perfect game this week. Justin Fields and the Bears would love nothing more than to eliminate the Packers from playoff contention. They have also been playing much better football over the last few weeks.
Expect to see Love and Watson put together a strong week. Assuming there are no setbacks, Watson is going to be a big part of the Packers’ game-plan offensively.
