While all eyes are on the Green Bay Packers’ upcoming Week 18 matchup against the Chicago Bears, plenty has been talked about regarding Jordan Love individually as well. The young quarterback has helped the Packers transition seamlessly from Aaron Rodgers and has made it clear that he is the quarterback of the future for the storied franchise.
Moving on from a Hall of Fame quarterback is never an easy thing to do. Rodgers has meant so much to Green Bay for so many years. However, it was clearly the right time for both parties to part ways.
All season long, Love has been tracking very similarly to how Rodgers began his career. In fact, he has begun doing things and reaching milestones that Rodgers used to reach.
Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love Did Something Not Done Since Aaron Rodgers In 2021
Jacob Morley of 247 Sports referenced the Packers’ “Dope Sheet” ahead of the game against the Bears and found an interesting fact. Love is the only quarterback in the NFL to throw for 1,800 or more yards, 16 or more touchdowns, one or fewer interceptions, and a completion percentage of 60 or higher during a seven-game span.
That impressive run has put him next to Rodgers in the history books. No quarterback had put up those numbers in that seven-game span since Rodgers back in the 2021 season.
Jordan Love is the only QB in the league to throw for
1,800+ YDS
16+ TDs
1 or fewer INTs
And a completion % of 68.0+ over a seven-game span this seasonThe last QB to put up these numbers in the NFL was Aaron Rodgers in 2021.

So far this season for the Green Bay Packers, Love has completed 63.1 percent of his passes for 3,843 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. He has also picked up 248 yards and another four touchdowns on the ground.
Those numbers showcase a glimpse at the future. Green Bay has to be feeling very good about the direction it is heading. Add in the fact that the team is the youngest in the NFL and that outlook gets even better.
Expect to see Jordan Love come out confident and aggressive once again this week against Chicago. If the Packers win, they get into the playoffs. Love is ready to face his biggest test yet.
