The Green Bay Packers may not need to worry about wide receiver Justin Jefferson this weekend, but they will have to worry about rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison. He completely balled out for the Vikings on Monday night in a 22-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
Minnesota improved to 3-4 on the year and are now in the hunt for a wild card spot in the NFC. Addison caught seven passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns against the 49ers. He was a first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft out of USC.
Jordan Addison is going to have a bright future in this league and is proving himself without Justin Jefferson playing due to a hamstring injury. Addison caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from Kirk Cousins in the first quarter and also had a 60-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. Here is the video of Addison’s second touchdown of the night:

He could potentially pose problems for the Green Bay Packers defense this weekend. The offense for the Minnesota Vikings has not been the issue this season, but turning the football over has. In order for Green Bay to slow down this offense, they will need to force turnovers.
Jordan Addison is the latest player that the Green Bay Packers Will Need to Stop
Addison, so far this season for the Minnesota Vikings, has caught 29 passes for 400 yards receiving and six touchdowns. He is averaging 13.8 yards per reception. Jordan Addison is only 21 years old. If Jaire Alexander returns from his back issues this weekend for the Packers, he will most likely be guarding him. If not, it could be a very long day for this defense.
They are trying to get back into the win column and have lost three consecutive games. Green Bay will have their backs against the wall in this contest. Another loss for the Packers is another step closer to another top draft pick in 2024. A win against Jordan Addison and the Minnesota Vikings means that Green Bay is back in the playoff hunt.
