The Green Bay Packers are preparing for a huge Sunday night matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs. Jordan Love and the offense have looked a lot better and are looking to build on the recent success. This week, one of his favorite targets, Jayden Reed has been absent from practice with a chest injury. He returned on Friday which is a positive step for him playing this week.

Green Bay Packers WR Jayden Reed Back At Practice
Even though he was missing practice, head coach Matt LaFleur had stated that Reed would likely be ready to play barring any setbacks. Still, seeing Reed on the practice field is a great sign. As the season has progressed, Reed has become one of Love’s favorite targets and is slowly becoming one of the top receivers on the team. He suffered a chest injury on a hit in the Chargers game but did end up playing on Thanksgiving. It is something that the team is monitoring but it seems he is good to continue playing.
Offense Finding Its Footing
The offense has looked much better in the past couple of weeks and it isn’t just Reed. Christian Watson is showing more of his 2022 self. Romeo Doubs continues to be a reliable red-zone target. A.J. Dillon is running with purpose and even the offensive line looks better by the week. They will need to be on their “A” game if they are going to upset the Chiefs. While the Chiefs’ offense hasn’t looked as crisp, any offense led by Patrick Mahomes is dangerous.
If the Green Bay Packers can come out with a win, it would be a huge confidence boost to Jayden Reed and the other rookies. The playoff push is on!
