The Green Bay Packers are preparing to take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Suddenly the Packers find themselves in position to compete for a Wild Card spot in the NFC after winning two in a row. Green Bay is 5-6 on the year and only sit behind the Seattle Seahawks (6-5) and Minnesota Vikings (6-5).
As the Packers continue to make in-season changes to their roster, they decided to bring in a 26-year-old quarterback for a workout.

NFL reporter Aaron Wilson announced the Green Bay Packers worked out QB Jarrett Guarantano.
In August, Green Bay worked out Guarantano as they tried to decide who would be their practice squad quarterback. Guarantano most recently played for the Denver Broncos in preseason.
From 2016 to 2020, Guarantano played college ball at Tennessee. In 2021, he transferred to Washington State. Guarantano threw for 6,478 yards, 39 touchdowns, and 20 interceptions during his collegiate career.
Guarantano went undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft and later signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent. Before being cut and resigned to the practice squad, he played every preseason game for the Cardinals.
Guarantano tried out for the Broncos in November 2022 but was not signed. In early December, he was finally signed to the Broncos’ practice squad and briefly appeared on the active roster.
