The Green Bay Packers are going to have to address the cornerback position this offseason. Eric Stokes will be a free agent and two-time Pro Bowl selection Jaire Alexander revealed to the media that he does not know if he will return to Green Bay next season.
While Carrington Valentine and Keisean Nixon played relatively well in 2024, there is no question that quality depth is needed at the position.
And it sounds like the Packers are looking everywhere to find it.

According to CUW’s website, Nowotarski had 42 tackles, three interceptions, and a forced recovery in nine games this season.
He is six-foot-three and 180 pounds and a native of Reading, Pennsylvania.
While it is rare that Division III players make it to the NFL, it is worth noting that Quinn Meinerz, who played a the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, recently was named First Team All-Pro in his fourth season with the Denver Broncos.
This is not to say, of course, that Nowotarski will be great in the NFL, or even be drafted this year. However, Meinerz’s success is proof that the Packers, as well as other NFL teams, are wise to do their due diligence with standout players from Division III schools.
