The Green Bay Packers may have been the first NFC North team eliminated from the NFL Playoffs, but they certainly were not the last. And they certainly were not the only ones to lose their first (and only) game in the postseason this year.

The Minnesota Vikings, of course, lost to the Los Angeles Rams a day after Green Bay fell to the Philadelphia Eagles. And on Saturday night, the Detroit Lions, the top seed in the NFC after an impressive 15-2 regular season, were blown out at home 45-31 by the upstart Washington Commanders, led by rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.

After the game, Packers fans took to social media to give back what Lions fans had dished out so freely during the regular season and after Green Bay’s loss to Philadelphia.

Former Green Bay Packers Pass Rush Za’Darius Smith Goes Viral for Disappearing for the Detroit Lions

As Packers fans were watching the game and scouring the stat sheets after, they noticed something about former Green Bay pass rusher Za’Darius Smith: he didn’t do anything.

Smith, for all of his boasting and pomp and victimizing of himself failed, once again, to show up for his team in the NFL Playoffs. He did it with the Packers, he did it with the Vikings, and now he has done it with the Lions.

And Packers fans were quick to point that out:

Za’Darius Smith didn’t record a tackle last night in the Lions biggest game of the season, and I GUARANTEE that mf gonna want a CAPTAINS C next season 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/nNigvN9HYx

y’all it’s gonna be lit when Za’Darius Smith signs with da Bears next year crying about how mean the Lions players were to him

The funniest part of this game is Za’darius Smith thinking he was gonna coast to a ring 😂

    — nedroc™️ (@nedroc__) January 19, 2025

As many of the posts above noted, Smith recorded zero tackles in the Lions loss to the Commanders. Many jokingly predict that he will sign with the Chicago Bears next season in order to complete the NFC North career cycle.

Regardless of where Smith goes, he will always be highly unpopular among Packers fans for the way he left the organization. At this point, one has to wonder what other teams would be willing to sign him based on how bitter he acts towards his former teams.

He didn’t do anything? That’s not true. He missed 2 tackles and gave up a td on one of them.
