In the 2023 NFL season, Jordan Love proved he could be the future of the Green Bay Packers. He had big shoes to fill entering his first season as a full-time starter for the Packers with Aaron Rodgers off to play QB for the New York Jets, and he showed that he is the right man for the job as the future Hall of Famer’s successor. Suffice it to say that most Packers fans are comfortable with the idea of seeing Love continue to start for Green Bay, which doesn’t have to worry much about its current QB situation — unlike the Minnesota Vikings.
The Vikings still have Kirk Cousins under contract, but that deal is set to expire at the end of the season. Cousins’ future with Minnesota is unclear and it could get blurrier depending on how willing the Vikings are to surrender to the rumored asking price of the 35-year-old signal-caller. It is said that Cousins is looking to be paid $90 million in guaranteed money over two years in his next contract.

Is that a fair price for Cousins? pic.twitter.com/lYijAUisCb

Green Bay Packers Have Better QB Outlook Than the Vikings, Thanks to Jordan Love
Cousins signed a one-year extension with the Vikings in 2022 worth $35 million. According to Spotrac, Cousins’ market value from an average salary per year perspective is at $39.3 million — or almost $6 million lower than his reported ask. Meanwhile, Jordan Love’s AAV market value is at $44.8 million.
Will the Green Bay Packers give him that kind of money in a potential extension deal?
In 2023, Love led the Packers to a 9-8 record and a win in the NFL playoffs. In the same season, he passed for 4,159 yards and 32 touchdowns with 11 interceptions, while completing 64.2 percent of his throws.

Jordan Love isn’t the Future and to Highly inaccurate with his throws. Be better off to trade him to some needy QB team. Then go all in and Trade up to get in the Top 5 and select Maye or McCarthy. Because if the Vikings get a hold of either QB they will Dominate the division. Jordan Love just needs to go to another team and become their problem .
