The Green Bay Packers have a lot of work to do in figuring out their offensive line before the 2024 season. All-Pro player David Bakhtiari is currently the most significant question mark, but there are also concerns about the free agency statuses of both Jon Runyan and Yosh Nijman. The potential loss of three starting offensive linemen would be a massive blow to the team.
Earlier this week, there were reports that the Packers and the player had expressed mutual interest. He had also garnered interest from other teams.

Packers starting RG Jon Runyan Jr. is set to be a UFA and switched his agent to Drew Rosenhaus. Per source, Rosenhaus met with Packers brass in Indianapolis and there is mutual interest in Runyan remaining a Packer. Would have to be right price for both sides, of course.

The fact that he’s hired the most prolific agent in sports tells us that he’s looking to get paid and fleece over a team.
I hope that’s not GB. He’s backup worthy and needs to be paid that way if we keep him around.

Is there a better RG on the roster? Are there better RGs at a good price in FA? Are drafted players always good?
He’s not an awful guard. Last year was bad, but he was good for the prior 3.

I’m fine with Runyan as a backup who could come in if we’re in a bind with injuries. I would want GB to get him on the cheap and then let him compete on a one year, prove it type of deal. He loves GB, so maybe he’d take a hometown discount…but with Rosenhaus…maybe not!

The Green Bay Packers have a reputation for drafting and developing talented offensive linemen. It wouldn’t be surprising if they selected several young linemen this year.
