Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre is fondly remembered by fans as the leader of the team that helped bring the franchise back to relevance after several decades of mediocrity and/or downright bad football. More than a few fans, though, still hold a grudge over his signing with the Minnesota Vikings in 2009 and have lost all respect for him after allegations that he was involved in a welfare scandal in Mississippi came to light.
Favre has not been charged with, nor convicted of, any crimes in relation to the Mississippi welfare scandal.
His off-field controversies aside, Favre is, without question, one of the greatest players that ever put on a Packers uniform. This is why many fans may be excited about his latest announcement.
Former Green Bay Packers Quarterback Brett Favre Will Have a Weekly Podcast in 2024
Favre has become more active on social media, particularly on X (formerly Twitter) in recent weeks. While many of his posts are political in nature, he also addresses various football topics on his page.
On Wednesday, the Pro Football Hall of Famer announced that he will be co-hosting a podcast this season with David Kano, the filmmaker who made Concussed, a film that Favre had a major role in making.
I’m excited to announce that I’ll be doing a new show @4thnFavre where I’ll be breaking down NFL QB play and other big news starting next week.
I’ll be taking one question from fans each week.

As one can see from Favre’s post, the Packers legend will be analyzing quarterback play around the NFL every week, as well as addressing other hot topics from around the league.
Fans can follow his show, “4th and Favre,” on X, Instagram, and YouTube.
Favre is just the latest of former NFL greats to focus on content creation as a means by which they can stay connected to the game. Bill Belichick, the former New England Patriots head coach, has numerous shows that he is doing with numerous companies throughout the week this season. Peyton Mannings has Omaha Productions, a film company that recently reached an agreement to make a documentary about the Packers franchise.
Regardless of how one may feel about Favre now, it is going to be very interesting to hear his breakdown of quarterback play this season and get a little bit of insight into how he views the game today.
