Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon had his best game of the season heading into the bye week. While he has had his ups and downs, he put together a solid game in relief of Aaron Jones who is still dealing with a hamstring injury. For many players, the bye week is a time to relax and Dillon is doing it by working on a farm…virtually through Twitch.
Green Bay Packers AJ Dillon Streaming Through Twitch
In the wee hours of the morning, Dillon hopped on the popular streaming platform and played some Farming Simulator with his fans. Based on his tweet, this was by popular demand as his followers wanted him to play the game. He made it even more fun by wearing a ridiculous cowboy hat as well. Dillon is one of the most likable players on the Packers and this is a big reason why. He isn’t the only player that streams video games online and it has become a popular way for players to connect with fans.
Good To See Players Having Fun
Dillon had to respond to a person who was rolling his eyes at the prospect of the running back streaming video games. Basically, he said that it is the bye week and lots of players are doing things to unwind. These players are human and Dillon’s performance on the field is not going to change whether he streams or not. All people need an outlet to relax from their jobs and Dillon is doing just that. I personally hope that Dillon can continue to play well on the field because I would love to see him back in Green Bay on a cheap deal next season. His ability to connect with fans is what makes him so great.
The Green Bay Packers have a lot to figure out in the bye week. Hopefully, they can get healthy and finish off the season strong.
