Green Bay Packers’ mandatory minicamp will take place from Tuesday to Thursday this week. There are a lot of things to watch out for. One of the things to watch out for will be the battle for the left tackle position between rookie Jordan Morgan and Rasheed Walker.
Walker was the left tackle for the Packers for most of last season after David Bakhtiari suffered a season-ending injury. The Green Bay Packers drafted Morgan 25th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft out of Arizona.

The offensive line was shaky a season ago. Another thing to watch out for is the new 4-3 defensive scheme compared to the 3-4 scheme they were playing last season.
The Thing To Watch For With the Green Bay Packers Is Having No True Number One Wide Receiver During Mandatory Minicamp

CBS Sports writer Cody Benjamin wrote a headline for each NFL team entering Mandatory Minicamp. For the Green Bay Packers, he wrote as his one thing to watch for:
“The development of the ‘non-No. 1’ wide receivers. Jordan Love made headlines by declaring Green Bay’s lack of a “true No. 1” actually benefits the offense. Let’s see how the crop of Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks actually shakes out on the depth chart.”
None of the Packers wide receivers last season went over 1,000 yards. There is a chance this season that at least one wide receiver could accomplish that goal and maybe two could. Jayden Reed led the team in receiving yards last season with 793 yards. Romeo Doubs was second on the Green Bay Packers last season in yards with 674 yards.
It will be interesting to see which wide receivers can separate themselves from the rest of the pack. Christian Watson feels like he is the top receiver because of his talent, but it might be Jayden Reed because of the yardage he had a season ago. Watson missed several games last season because of a hamstring injury.
He will be entering his third NFL season. Christian Watson hopes that those issues he dealt with last season don’t happen again because this is a make-it-or-break-it season for him.

Reed and Bo Melton were the only two wide receivers on the Green Bay Packers roster last season to go over 100 yards receiving in a game during the regular season. Melton is another wide receiver to watch for during mandatory minicamp because he performed well during OTAs also.
