The Philadelphia Eagles have been dealing with a quarterback carousel over the last couple of weeks. Jalen Hurts has not played since December 22, 2024, against the Washington Commanders. He has been in concussion protocol ever since then.
Kenny Pickett and Tanner McKee played during the absence of Hurts over the last couple of weeks. Philadelphia will be facing the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Wild Card round this weekend.
Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Jalen Hurts Cleared From Concussion Protocol Ahead Of Green Bay Packers Matchup
On Friday, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni mentioned that Hurts cleared concussion protocol and will be playing on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. It is great news for Philadelphia that they will not have to wait until game-time to find out if Hurts would be suiting up or not.
This season for the Eagles, he completed 68.7% of his passes for 2,903 yards, 18 touchdowns, and five interceptions. Hurts also rushed for 630 yards on 150 carries and 14 touchdowns, along with averaging 4.2 yards per carry.

Interesting timing… but glad he’s cleared.

A season ago, not many people gave the Packers a chance to beat the Dallas Cowboys on the road in the NFC Wild Card Round. This year, not many people are giving the Packers a chance to beat the Philadelphia Eagles, especially with Hurts returning to game action on Sunday. If Green Bay’s defense does not slow down Hurts and the Eagles early, it could be a long day for them.
