Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to show why he is one of the best players in the NBA for the Milwaukee Bucks on a night-to-night basis. In the first game in the post-Adrian Griffin era, Antetokounmpo recorded a triple-double in a 126-116 home win against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
With the win, Milwaukee improved to 31-13 on the season and Joe Prunty was the interim head coach in this one. Doc Rivers is expected to become the Bucks’s next head coach, however. Antetokounmpo against the Cavaliers had his way all night long with 35 points, 18 rebounds, 10 assists, and two blocks.
He has been playing this well all season long, but Antetokounmpo was on a different mission on Wednesday night against Cleveland it appeared. He did not play against them in the last matchup due to injury. The Bucks are different when Antetokounmpo is dominant on all ends of the basketball floor.
After the game was over, Antetokounmpo decided to put this caption out on his Twitter page along with a photo from the game against the Cleveland Cavaliers:

Antetokounmpo is one of the most efficient players in the NBA this season. He can very well be an NBA MVP finalist this season for the Bucks. A few other NBA MVP candidates at the moment could be Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for the Oklahoma City Thunder, and Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks.
Antetokounmpo will be on a mission for the rest of the season with the firing of Adrian Griffin Jr. and with the hiring of Doc Rivers. He will continue to perform at a dominant level.
