Former Wisconsin Badgers running back Jonathan Taylor has been drafted in the 2nd round of the NFL draft by the Indianapolis Colts. Taylor was the 41st overall selection in the NFL draft after the Colts traded up to get him. He has an opportunity to join an organization that has pro-bowlers along the offensive line and is determined to run the ball.
Jonathan Taylor is the latest talent at the running back position to come out of Wisconsin. Melvin Gordon, James White, and Dare Ogunbowale are all currently in the NFL. The 6,000 yard college rusher should have a promising start to his NFL career in Indianapolis. Although, he may have to wait a year with Marlon Mack on the roster.
