Former Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers offensive lineman Bill Ferrario pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct and operating while intoxicated, which is his second offense.
On Jan, 3, Ferrario was booked into the Marathon County Jail, but has been released after posting his $1,500 signature bond.
Ferrario, now 44, was drafted in the fourth round by the Green Bay Packers in 2001, playing his college ball at the University Of Wisconsin. Ferrario also had stints with Washington and Carolina before retiring from the NFL in 2005.

According to WSAW, on Tuesday, Wausau Police visited Ferrario’s home after someone reported him to be intoxicated and yelling. Police responded to a similar complaint the day before. On that night, which would have been Monday, Ferrario was taken to a hotel and returned home around 8 p.m. on Tuesday. When the police arrived, Ferrario was reported to be yelling and throwing things in is garage. Two people at the residence said they were fearful of Ferrario, leading to an eventual disorderly conduct charge.
The day after, on Wednesday, he was charged with his second offense of operating while intoxicated. According to investigators, Ferrario was by himself when his truck missed a curve, and drove into a ditch around 11:45 a.m. Ferrario said that from 4:30 a.m. until the crash occurred, he had half to ⅓ liter bottle of vodka.
The breath test showed a .222, which is nearly three times over the legal limit. A court appearance is scheduled for Feb. 8.
