The Packers defeated the Bears on Sunday and Christian Watson struck again. He caught one touchdown and ran another in to seal the game. Both Packers’ rookie receivers, Watson and Romeo Doubs, have shown lots of promise. They have shown so much promise that people are starting to take notice. Former All-Pro receiver Dez Bryant praised the Packers’ rookie receivers.
Watson and Dobbs in Green Bay will be something serious in the near future

Dez Bryant Praises Packers’ Rookies
While many have been critical of the Packers’ drafting strategy, they have definitely hit with these two. Doubs has shown great hands and deep-ball ability and the hope is he will be back for the last four games of the season. Watson has been otherworldly. His eight touchdowns in the last four games are vaulting him into historic conversations. Dez Bryant is taking notice. “Watson and Dobbs in Green Bay will be something serious in the near future,” Bryant said in a tweet. Bryant has been impressed with what is happening in Green Bay.
Hard Not To Agree
It is hard not to agree with Dez Bryant. Watson has been a joy to watch the last four games. Anytime he touches the ball it feels like he can take it to the house. His speed is fun to watch and we are finally seeing the skill set that made the Packers trade up in the second round for him. Doubs has not had the stats that Watson has had but he still has been solid. He looks like he is adjusting well to the offense and will be an NFL receiver for years to come.
With the Packers likely not making the playoffs, it is time to evaluate what you have for next season. The Packers will go into next season with a promising receiving corps. If they keep this up, Dez Bryant won’t be the only one talking about the Packers’ rookies.
