During his recent interview, Sabb spoke about what sets his game apart from other receivers, as well as his current recruiting experience.
Wisconsin Football Target Amari Sabb Sets Sights on Playing at a High-Level
For Wisconsin football target and three-star wide receiver Amari Sabb, the college recruitment experience has hit full swing. The receiver earned a scholarship offer from the Wisconsin football staff on May 17th, and has since also been offered by the Kentucky Wildcats. Sabb holds 23 scholarship offers currently, and has already set an extensive list of unofficial visits for this Summer.
Sabb is scheduled to visit Oregon, Alabama, Penn State, Ohio State, and Syracuse in June alone. Following the visits, the recruit will likely take time to prepare for the upcoming season after being on the move for much of the month. When asked about the process and his offers thus far, Sabb stated, “Man I’m grateful for all of them.”
Sabb: “My Goal Is to Be One of the Best to Ever Play”
When Sabb was asked about what he felt set him apart from other receivers on the field, he gave a simple answer of “Passion”. The receiver loves to “compete at a high level” when he is on the field and feels as though his intensity and love for the game makes him the best receiver.
Sabb also went on to state, “My goal is to be on of the best to ever play.” The receiver has set lofty goals for himself, but between his skills and confidence in his abilities, it appears to be a manageable goal for Sabb. When the receiver was asked to compare his play style to other professional players, Sabb provided Tank Dell and Zay Flowers as his pro comparisons.
Can the Wisconsin Football Staff Potentially Land Amari Sabb in the Future?
When asked about how he felt regarding his scholarship offer from the Wisconsin football staff, Sabb admitted that the past success of other athletes has interested him. The receiver specifically pointed out other southern New Jersey such as Corey Clement, Jonathan Taylor, and Ron Dwayne. Clement, a former All-Big Ten selection, attended Glassboro High School which is the same school Sabb attends.
Sabb also stated, “I look forward to getting on campus in the future.” Wisconsin could certainly become a major figure in the recruitment of Sabb in the future with the right attention to detail.
