Dez Bryant caught it. At least that’s what he’ll tell you. Packers fans beg to differ. Eight years have passed since the infamous play, and Bryant isn’t ready to let it go anytime soon.
Dez Bryant Is Still Saying “I Caught It” 8 Years Later
On Jan. 11, 2015, the Green Bay Packers were set to take on the Dallas Cowboys in the divisional round of the playoffs. With about five minutes left in the fourth quarter, Dallas trailed 21-26. On a critical fourth down, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo completed a pass to Bryant…well, at least for the moment.

Green Bay challenged the play. After further review, it was ruled an incomplete pass. Dallas ended up losing the game. However, the play was so controversial that it caused the NFL to make an adjustment to their rule book.
Now, eight years later, Dez Bryant took to Twitter to remind the world that in his opinion, he caught it.
The game changed forever on this day!
I caught it!

“The game changed forever on this day! I caught it,” Bryant said.
For Cowboys fans, Jan. 11 is a day that they’d like to forget. Who knows what would have happened if the call went the other way.
The no-catch call is one that is still heavily debated. Yes, it’s all in the past, but Dez Bryant is still trying to plead his case.
