Giannis Antetokounmpo had another strong performance on Saturday night against the Golden State Warriors as the former back-to-back MVP led the Milwaukee Bucks to an impressive 129-118 victory over the Dubs.
The Bucks, however, are in action again on Sunday night, this time hosting the Sacramento Kings at the Fiserv Forum. All of a sudden, Antetokounmpo’s status for this contest has been put into question after he was added to the injury report just a couple of hours prior to tipoff.
Milwaukee Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo Questionable to Play Vs. Kings
According to the official injury report, Giannis is currently dealing with a right shoulder contusion. This has forced Milwaukee to list him as questionable to play for Sunday’s game.

The fact that Antetokounmpo has been included in the injury report so close to tip-off is not a good sign. This only means that it’s now likely that he will be given the night off, considering how the Bucks will be playing their third game in four nights on Sunday.
The silver lining here is that the injury does not sound serious, which means that should he sit out on Sunday, Antetokounmpo should be good to go on Wednesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
UPDATE: The Bucks have cleared Giannis to play:
