It’s official, the Milwaukee Bucks once again have at least two players who will be playing the All-Star game. After being snubbed last season, Khris Middleton earned his third career selection. He will join teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo in the exhibition for the third time as well. It was announced today that he was selected as a reserve in the Eastern Conference, along with Jimmy Butler, Darius Garland, James Harden, Zach LaVine, Jayson Tatum, and Fred VanVleet. Let’s take a quick look at the reasons why he earned the nod this year!

Khris Middleton is Good
It’s a trademark saying amongst Bucks’ Twitter, but it’s also true. Middleton is averaging 19.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game so far this season. While his shooting percentages are down from previous seasons, they are higher than they were during the 2018-2019 season when he earned his first All-Star selection. It is likely that his performance in the postseason last year helped him gain some votes from fellow coaches and players over others who might have slightly better numbers for the season. Nicknamed the “Batman” of the team by Kendrick Perkins, Middleton stepped up time and time again in the playoffs in the most important moments.
This year’s game is being held in Cleveland, Ohio at 7PM CST on TNT. Tune in to watch two of the Bucks’ stars compete with the rest of the league’s best!
