The face of Wisconsin Badgers volleyball, coach Kelly Sheffield, has had his contract extended by the Athletic Board through the year 2030. Sheffield and three others had their contract extensions approved with Luke Fickell (football), Paula Wilkens (women’s soccer), and Neil Jones (men’s soccer) being the others.

According to BadgerExtra, Sheffield has a contract that offers the potential for a raise based on the team’s performance. In 2025 he was eligible for an 8.7% increase from his 2024 salary, which was $575,000. This puts his base salary for the upcoming season at $625,000
