Badgers volleyball has been hosting a block party all season long, running their set streak up to 21 after victories against Iowa and Illinois this week. The No. 1 ranked Badgers are holding the second spot in the Big Ten with blocks and digs, bringing a well-balanced attack that’s starting to get some recognition. Last week, Carter Booth took home the same honors that belong to senior middle blocker CC Crawford after her play this week.

CC Crawford’s Performance for Badgers Volleyball
Crawford was in the middle of everything that the Wisconsin Badgers were doing on the defensive side of the net this week. She tallied 12 total blocks across the two games, including seven against Illinois. As a team, Badgers volleyball registered 21 blocks, and their opponents combined for six blocks against them. Crawford also added five digs on defense.
On the season the senior is enjoying a season that has her sitting 8th in blocks in the Big Ten and tied for 10th in the nation. She’s tallied 63 blocks for 1.19 blocks per set. Crawford only trails defensive stalwart Carter Booth in blocks on the Badgers. She turned it on this week to capture the Big Ten honors for Defensive Player of the Week.
She’s also played well on the offensive side of the net for Badgers volleyball, with 42 kills and 85.5 points.
