Breaking: Badgers’ 1st Round Opponent Revealed For March Madness

A 3-seed was awarded to the Wisconsin Badgers in the NCAA Tournament. On Thursday, Wisconsin will face 14-seed Montana in Colorado. Time of tip-off to be determined.
This game’s winner will face the winner of the No. 6 BYU-No. 11 VCU matchup.
After a strong four days at the Big Ten Tournament, where they beat Northwestern, UCLA, and the Michigan State Spartans, Wisconsin rebounded to the No. 3 seed this week.
According to
Wisconsin’s wins over UCLA and Michigan State were especially big, as the Badgers got a Quad 1 win over the Bruins and a Quad 1A win over the Spartans, furthering their resume even more.
That, paired with an early loss from the Texas A&M Aggies in the SEC Tournament, got the Badgers up to the No. 3 line.
But, the big storyline is that Wisconsin will not be playing in Milwaukee, which many bracketologists predicted after their victory over Michigan State on Saturday. Instead, Iowa State got the draw in Milwaukee as the No. 3 seed in the South region.
