On Sunday, against the Cowboys, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers won their first game since October 2. It was a thrilling 31-28 overtime victory. However, Green Bay’s win didn’t come without some drama.
Late in the fourth quarter, the Packers failed to convert on third down. After the play, Rodgers and head coach Matt LaFleur got into a heated exchange. Rodgers clearly wanted to run a different play during a crucial moment of the game.

Aaron Rodgers Was Not Happy With Late Game Play Calling
Thankfully, the failed third down conversion did not prove to be costly. The Packers managed to pull off a much-needed win. Although, during Rodgers’ weekly appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, he shed some light on his argument with LaFleur. “I was pissed about the calls. He [LaFleur] was pissed about the calls too,” Rodgers said.

Rodgers had his post-game press conference before LaFleur did after Sunday’s game. LaFleur admitted that his players bailed him out against the Cowboys. Rodgers talked about the exchange between himself and his coach as LaFleur was taking the stage for his press conference.
Rodgers said, “He [LaFleur] had been watching. He had seen what I said. He made a little barb as I was walking out. We had a couple of laughs. I told him how much he meant to me.” Later, Rodgers said that he and his coach ‘hugged it out’ after the game.
Nevertheless, a win is a win. Packers fans can now breathe a sigh of relief after witnessing Green Bay’s first win in over a month. Green Bay takes on the Tennessee Titans on Thursday night with hopes of winning their second game in a row.
