Aaron Rodgers is going to have yet another eventful off-season. After being informed that the New York Jets are going into a different direction, Rodgers is back on the prowl for a new job. Still, he is estimated to make at least $25M wherever he signs.
However, it would appear there’s one less option.
Aaron Rodgers Loses Out On Another Option For New Team (Report)
According to JPA Football:
𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧: While it’s true that Matthew Stafford is seeking $50M per year on a new deal, he is willing to “take less” to stay with the #Rams, sources told JKBOGEN.
Sounds like while Stafford wants to get what he’s worth, he’s open to seeing if the Rams can meet him halfway.

There is a possibility that Rodgers and Adams are a package deal. In New York this past season, we saw the duo still have that connection:
Well, Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton has concocted a trade idea that would keep Rodgers and Adams together, but this time, with the Los Angeles Rams. He has the Rams sending multiple draft picks to the Jets in exchange fort he two offensive stars.
“According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Rodgers would be “thrilled” to play with the Rams if they don’t work out a new deal with [Matthew] Stafford,” Moton wrote. “The Rams can acquire Rodgers and Adams as a package deal to replace Stafford and [Cooper] Kupp and stay in a win-now window. They would also have their first-round pick to take a quarterback or address another position of need.”
