Aaron Rodgers Is “Washed Up,” 1 Former NFL Quarterback Boldly Claims; New York Jets Will Not Make Super Bowl

Aaron Rodgers was traded by the Green Bay Packers to the New York Jets for some premier draft picks prior to the 2023 NFL Draft. Since that time, the Jets have garnered a great deal of praise and have high expectations for success in the 2023 season. However, one former NFL quarterback, Scott Mitchell, believes fans should temper those expectations. He had some bold words regarding Rodgers and New York’s chances to make the Super Bowl on his podcast, Unrivaled.

Aaron Rodgers Will Not Lead the New York Jets to the Super Bowl

Scott Mitchell, who played for four NFL teams in his 10-year career, did not hold back on his opinion of how effective Rodgers will be and what the Jets’ chances are to make it to and win the Super Bowl:

“I don’t believe he will get [the Jets] to the Super Bowl. Aaron Rodgers may be overrated and washed up. He’s going to get washed up with the Jets.”

Mitchell put the odds of the Jets winning the Super Bowl at around “12%.”

More and More Analysts Are Starting to Doubt Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets

When the NFL schedules were released on Thursday, more and more people began to realize just how difficult of a time Aaron Rodgers and the Jets will have in a stacked AFC. Six of their first eight games are against 2022 NFL Playoffs teams, and the two that were not are the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots. Both teams are expected to be much improved in 2023.

In other words, Rodgers and the Jets have their work cut out for them. Due to his age and his poor 2022 season, less and less people think the 39-year old quarterback will be able to push the Jets over the hump.

Who the heck is Scott Mitchell. He was and still is a nobody. Aaron could play better left handed thN Scott ever played. In fact Aaron’s stats last year with a broken thumb rookie wr and a head coach who couldn’t calls plays for pee wee football were better than Scott’s EVER were…go back to the whole you climbed out of Scott.

Sounds like someone has hurt feelings about losing his QB. I’m pretty sure the jets will at least make the playoffs, while you’ll be at home polishing your cheesehead.

Let’s face it – Aaron Rodgers was never that good. He’s played in the crappiest league there is. The Bears, the Lions & the Vikings. Becoming division Champs against these chumps? Big deal! One super bowl in 18 years? So what? He’s been washed up for a LONG time. He’s a freak with his oil enemas and his superfluous attitude. Didn’t the Jets learn their lesson with Brett Favre? This will be their worst season yet. Watch and see. And yes, I’m a wisconsin resident.

You’re delusional. Aaron Rodgers is a top five all-time quarterback. Was, I mean. He’s done, obviously.

The Packers fleeced the Jets getting them to take a $100 million contract for a QB that can’t throw down field, is a team cancer blaming everyone else for his failures, can’t handle criticism and chokes when playing good defenses.

The NY media won’t suck up to him like the Green Bay media did. Pass the popcorn. 🍿 The Rodgers sideshow has just begun.
