Aaron Rodgers will likely play for the New York Jets in 2023. It has been over on month since Aaron Rodgers declared he intends to play for the New York Jets in 2023. However, with seemingly no progress toward that trade actually happening, multiple other teams have reportedly entered the mix for the four-time MVP quarterback. That being said, it would be fairly surprising if the Green Bay Packers chose to trade him anywhere else. Odell Beckham Jr. was widely rumored to sign with the Jets, however, that fell through when the Baltimore Ravens offered top dollar. It would seem that yet another star wide receiver won’t be teaming up with Aaron Rodgers this year.
DeAndre Hopkins Doesn’t Want To Play With The New York Jets In 2023
In an interview with the All Things Covered podcast for CBS Sports, five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was asked about potential trade destinations, one of them being the New York Jets. His reaction was nothing short of “I don’t want to play there.” Take a took:

Hopkins certainly hinted at preferring a move to the Buffalo Bills or Kansas City Chiefs, while seemingly giving a negative response when asked about the New England Patriots and New York Jets.
Of course, the Arizona Cardinals could still trade Hopkins to the Jets or Patriots, but it’s hard to imagine Hopkins not having a say on his future team, should he get traded. The Packers were unable to make deals with star receivers in recent years, and it seems Aaron Rodgers potential new team is finding a similar problem.
