A new video posted of Aaron Rodgers throwing during New York Jets program warmups in Week 8 had NFL fans excited about the progress the star quarterback is making this season.
The former Green Bay Packers quarterback suffered a torn Achilles in their Week 1 win over the Buffalo Bills. It was thought Rodgers would be done for the season following the injury. However, Rodgers has said his goal is to make a comeback at some point this season or postseason.
Rodgers underwent an experimental procedure for his Achilles injury. And the results seem promising for the 39-year-old gunslinger. Rodgers appears to be recovering ahead of schedule, but not in time for the Packers to receive the Jets 2024 first-round pick.
Rodgers threw the ball in Jets warmups a couple of weeks ago. But video posted on X by Jets Videos shows Rodgers putting more weight on his feet and executing proper footwork.
