Aaron Jones and Aaron Rodgers are two Green Bay Packers players around whom there are many questions this offseason. Everyone is familiar with the Rodgers questions: “will he or won’t he?” “Trade him, or not?” To his credit, Rodgers has put himself in a position where he can control (mostly) what happens. Jones, on the other hand, does not. With a $20 million cap hit in 2023, there are questions concerning his future with the team. The Packers almost have to restructure his deal if they want to keep him, or else they have to cut him to afford other players. Brian Gutekunst has said that they [the Packers] expect to have Jones back next season.
Aaron Jones Has a Great Story About Aaron Rodgers
One of the things that many people outside of the Packers organization say about Aaron Rodgers is that he is a bad teammate. Perhaps this narrative has gained some traction because of stories from Greg Jennings and/or Martellus Bennett. However, many current players have gone out of their way to talk about how great of a teammate Rodger is, including Aaron Jones. In a recently posted video, Jones talks about something Rodgers said to him during their very first game together:

In the video, Jones says that, in his very first game, Rodgers told him that he was one of his favorite people in the organization, and that he believed in him. That, Jones said, is when he knew that he could be a good NFL player.
