A team in the NFC South is now getting into the Aaron Rodgers sweepstakes
As the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine continues in Indianapolis, the biggest non-draft story in the league right now is the decision Aaron Rodgers faces. Will he stay with the Green Bay Packers? Will he be traded? Or is retirement in his plans?
Rodgers revealed on Wednesday that his decision will come soon after he partially completed his darkness retreat in Oregon last week. But as we await his decision, another team has decided to reach out about his availability.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Carolina Panthers are the latest team to reach out about Aaron Rodgers for a potential trade:

The Panthers are just the latest team to show interest in Rodgers. All offseason it’s been the New York Jets and Las Vegas Raiders as options for Rodgers if he doesn’t go back to Green Bay.
The Packers would prefer Rodgers go to an AFC team but him going to the NFC South isn’t a bad idea either, especially if the Panthers are willing to pony up a big offer for the quarterback.
As of now, this is just a report. The biggest thing will be what Rodgers actually decides to do here in the coming weeks. And if it’s a trade, then things will really start to heat up.
