Last week, the Green Bay Packers destroyed the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field by the score of 41-17. It wasn’t even that close of a game with the Vikings scoring two touchdowns in garbage time. Afterwards, the Vikings players, coaches, and fans came up with a plethora of excuses as to why they lost and how the Packers may have cheated. One of these was that condition of the field, who one Vikings fan said was soaked in places it would only affect Minnesota’s players. This ridiculous statement has been discussed at length this week, and yesterday, former Packers offensive lineman Bryan Bulaga took a shot at Minnesota on Twitter for their excuses.
Bryan Bulaga Tears Into the Vikings
If there is anyone who knows about what field conditions are like in the winter, it is Bryan Bulaga. The veteran offensive lineman played for the Packers for nine years and won a Super Bowl with them in 2010. He has played in all sorts of weather at Lambeau Field and knows how to prepare, no matter what the conditions are. Per Bulaga’s Twitter, perhaps the Vikings should have been worried about figuring out what kind of cleats to wear before the game, instead of attempting to look tough by warming up without their shirts on:
The grass in Lambeau is very unique in Dec /Jan.I always wore studs there once we hit Thanksgiving .But it’s more then just having the proper footwear, you have to learn your footing on that surface which is hard for road teams to figure out while just warming up with no shirts on https://t.co/HlI4ZM2a3z
