The Green Bay Packers fell to 3-3 on the year after a disappointing home loss to the New York Jets in Week 6. It was the second-straight week the Packers have dropped a game and it was another disappointing performance all around.
Green Bay’s offense really struggled in this game as the Jets defense got pressure on Aaron Rodgers all game long. Defensively, the Packers held up in the first half but allowed the Jets to go on a few scoring drives in the second half.
And special teams allowed a blocked field goal and punt, putting together an all-around miserable day.
A ‘humbling’ game for the Packers
Following the game, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur revealed that this loss was not only ‘disappointing’ but it humbled the team as well.
Here is what LaFleur said after the game via Andy Herman:
MLF
"Extremely disappointed right now. That was very humbling."
"We all gotta be better."
"We gotta get back to work."
"We have to have that urgency to want to improve."
"We're going to have to take a good hard look at everything."

One can hope that this was a ‘humbling’ game for the Packers and they can figure things out. If they can’t, these struggles will continue for Green Bay and the season can go downhill in a hurry.
The Packers are 3-3 and with Minnesota winning plus the NFC East having three good teams, time isn’t running out for Green Bay. However, they need to start stacking some wins here very soon.
