Very few QB-WR combos have ever been more dynamic than Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams were. On the field, they were assassins together. Off the field, they developed quite a relationship as well. Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams were even spotted together shortly after the trade went down. According to their Instagrams, they went golfing in mid-June. Davante Adams’ most recent actions, however, caught Rodgers off-guard. Adams has been charged with a misdemeanor assault after he pushed a cameraman. Today, Rodgers was asked about that whole situation.
Aaron Rodgers Shocked By Whole Situation, Especially Charge:
Ryan Wood from USA Today asked Rodgers about his opinion of the whole situation. Rodgers had this to say:
I was surprised. I was definitely surprised. I love Davante, I reached out to him after the game. I haven’t seen the clip yet. But, yeah, I was surprised.”
Ryan Wood asked him if he was surprised by Adams’ shove, or the charge: “More the charge”

In case you missed it; in an obvious moment of frustration, Davante Adams is seen pushing a cameraman to the ground. This came moments after the Raiders lost a 30-29 thriller to the Chiefs. Here is the video of the incident:

Davante Adams has since apologized for the incident. In the locker room afterward, in comments shown on ESPN, Adams had this to say:
“Before I answer anything else, I want to apologize to the guy — some guy running off the field, and he ran, jumped in front of me when we were coming off the field and I bumped into him, kind of pushed him and I think he ended up on the ground,” Adams said. “I wanted to say sorry to him for that. That was frustration mixed with him running, literally running in front of me, and I shouldn’t have responded that way. But that’s how I initially responded so I want to apologize to him for that.”
