Aaron Rodgers likes his quarterback room
This year, Aaron Rodgers has a unique work environment with the Green Bay Packers. The 18-year veteran will juggle a young and rough wide receiver corps while trying to compete at an MVP level for the team. Rodgers, at 38, is continuing to use his waning years with the Packers to mentor quarterback Jordan Love.
That might be a stressful position for most NFL quarterbacks. But Rodgers seems at peace with where he’s at this season. At least in the quarterback room.
Rodgers spoke on The Pat McAfee Show recently. He said that he loves the quarterback room and going to work with the Packers. Rodgers mentioned quarterbacks coach Tom Clements as a special reason why he’s excited to come to work in the morning.
“It is fun having Tom back. Tom makes that room so much fun. We just have such a great report. We have years and years of memories, and most of them was when I was a younger player. Although he left after the 2016 season. It wasn’t that long ago.
But he was my direct quarterback coach in the room from 2006 through 2011. And a lot of fun, fun memories together. So having him has been great.”

Rodgers is in good hands with Clements
Having Clements back as a quarterbacks coach has to be a relief for Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers had many successful seasons working with Clements. The pair should be able to work together this season to have Rodgers put up more stellar numbers this season.
Clements had an extremely successful run with the Packers from the 2006-2017 seasons. He was able to better Brett Favre before setting up Rodgers to have his amazing career. When Clements was with the Packers, the team’s total offense ranked in the top 10 in the league nine out of his 11 seasons.
