The Wisconsin football staff has kept a close eye on a new 2026 three-star target they feel can become a game-changer.
Brady Ballart, a 2026 three-star inside linebacker from Indiana, has been closely tied to the Wisconsin football program since the opening of the recruiting period. Ballart currently has a total of five scholarship offers at the moment from smaller schools, but has been gaining the attention of major programs as of late. Recently, Ballart spoke about his recruitment and what he feels sets him apart as a recruit.
Wisconsin Football Target Brady Ballart Displays Athleticism, Toughness On Field
Recently, the Wisconsin football staff has put their attention towards a 2026 three-star inside linebacker. Brady Ballart, an Indiana native, has been in contact with the Badgers since the opening of the 2026 recruiting period. The linebacker currently holds five scholarship offers from Toledo, Miami of Ohio, Eastern Michigan, Ball State, and Eastern Kentucky.
The recruit has recently been in contact with Louisville, Wake Forest, Cincinnati, and the Wisconsin Badgers football staff as well. However, Ballart does not hold any offers just yet from the major programs he has been in contact with.
While some may be frustrated or focused on what schools they wish to contact, Ballart states, “Honestly I don’t think too much about the schools that haven’t shown me any interest yet and just focus on what I can control.” Ballart also stated he is committed to continuing to develop close relationships with the schools he is currently in contact with.
Brady Ballart: “I Fly Around and Love to Hit People”
On the field, Ballart believes that there is plenty that can set him apart from other linebackers and cause him to stand-out for programs. The linebacker stated, “I feel like I am such a versatile player and that I can play anywhere on the field.” Ballart continued to state, “I fly around and love to hit people. I’m a sideline to sideline player with a great build.”
The linebacker certainly was not joking when he referenced his build, as he comes in at 6-feet-2-inches and 220-pounds. Ballart also revealed that he spends extra hours watching film and has been spending extra time in the weight room as well to help prepare himself.
Will the Wisconsin Badgers Football Staff Extend a Scholarship Offer to Ballart?
With the rate that things are goings for Ballart, it should be no time before both the Wisconsin football staff and plenty of other programs offer the linebacker. Ballart is a versatile, speedy, and incredibly intelligent linebacker that also brings a huge frame to the field. It is difficult to find players with the combination of size and skills that the linebacker possesses, which will make it much easier for schools to give out scholarships to the talented athlete.
Thus far into his recruitment, Ballart believes Louisville, Toledo, and Wake Forest are the most interest programs currently.
